I had the pleasure of attending one of Joan’s shows in January 2002 and I became an immediate fan.  She has a delightful way of engaging her audience by blending a disarming formula of humor - poking gentle fun at both her and us - and a sultry voice that will move you to both laughter and tears.  And she always leaves you feeling better about yourself and the world around you.
As a people leader and an executive in a global corporation, I find it useful to organize quarterly meetings.  After a day of discussions that can be pretty heavy at times, Joan lifts our spirits with a sense of song, style and humor.  It is also very comforting to know that Joan is a true professional who can be counted on to deliver.
